Person Centred Counselling in Liverpool
Hello, and welcome to my website.
This site aims to offer an overview of my counselling practice and to give you the information that you need to decide whether it could be something that you may find useful. The initial decision to seek out counselling or therapy can be a daunting one, particularly if it is something that you have never accessed or experienced before.
There are multiple services out there and it can be difficult to decide which is the best choice for you. Therefore, this website aims to assist you in this decision-making process by ensuring that you have as much information about the service I offer. However, if you cannot find the answers to your question here then feel free to contact me through any of the details on this site.
I offer brief and long-term counselling to individuals and couples within a safe and comfortable environment.
I offer face to face services in Central Liverpool, my counselling room is a short walk from Moorfields train station. I also offer online and telephone counselling sessions.
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor. I have experience of working with clients who have presented with a variety of issues, such as grief, bereavement and loss, alcohol and substance misuse, boundaries, relationship difficulties, confidence building, identity, personal development, self-esteem and sexuality.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and I abide by its Code of Ethics. This includes keeping up to date with continuing professional development and supervision.
How I Can Help You.
I offer a free initial telephone or Skype consultation for new clients. This is so I can introduce myself and so you have the option of asking questions about my practice. It can also help to 'break the ice' before meeting face to face.
To access online counselling you would be required to have access to a good internet connection and appropriate communication software such as Skype.
Sessions are booked for one hour and we would see each other once per week. However, some flexibility is possible around frequency. I do not have a fixed period of time that sessions would occur, and this would need to be discussed and agreed upon between us. Usually, I would ask to review our sessions at regular intervals, this is usually around every six weeks.
I charge £50 for a 1 hour counselling session, this is the same whether it is face to face, online or via the telephone.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or are unsure if my service is for you and wish to talk it through first.
I can currently only offer evening appointments.
